The responsibilities of the leisure travel agent are:
Generate leads, respond to all customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner, develop new business through a variety of means including personal and professional referrals, telemarketing, and prospects. Establish a referral base to generate business. Observe developing trends in the industry and remain knowledgeable of changing guidelines, regulations, and business practices. Attend scheduled meetings, training sessions, courses and additional responsibilities as assigned by management. Must know all platforms for selling tour and cruise packages.
Competently utilize computer programs such as: Clientbase software, MS Word, Excel, Outlook
Proven track record in travel sales
Travel experience outside the United States
